A string of bad luck always seemed to surround me at this particular time of the year. I always looked at it as it's a New Year with new obstacles and better off to get them out of the way early. Looking back throughout the years I never thought or even suspected I was the actual cause of my own string of bad luck or that it was so easy to fix. I've always been the type to say it is what it is I can't change it, just deal with it, hope it doesn't eat you up emotionally and move on and wait for the next obstacle course to hurdle.
